Everyone waits for peak foliage. I’m not sure you have to. 🍂

I was in Middlebury, Vermont this week and the leaves were still mostly green. But it was one of those cool mornings when you could feel the season beginning to change.

The Green Mountains. Endless farmland. Small towns. Farm stands, maple syrup and cider donuts. And every once in a while, one tree that clearly didn’t get the memo that it’s still summer.

I think this might be one of my favorite times to be in Vermont—before everyone arrives for the foliage.

Sometimes the best time to experience a destination isn’t necessarily the time everyone tells you to go.

Would you rather see Vermont at peak foliage—or just before it?

I have something new to share — and I’m pretty excited about this one.

I’ve been invited into the beta release of Fora’s new Client Portal, which gives me a completely new way to work with travelers.

I’m calling it Hotel Access at Uncork & Explore.

If you’re someone who actually likes planning your own travel, you don’t necessarily need me to design your entire trip. Sometimes you just need a really good hotel.

With Hotel Access, my clients can use my personalized portal to browse and book from more than 4,000 Fora Reserve properties, with more being added.

Think long weekends. College visits. Wedding weekends. Pre- and post-cruise stays. Fall escapes. Holiday travel.

You plan the trip. You book the hotel through Uncork & Explore.

And when you have a trip that needs a little more designing? I do that too.

Beta access is currently limited, and I’m delighted to be among the advisors able to offer it.

Maybe Ferris Bueller was right.

Life moves pretty fast.

Maybe that's why travel feels different now.

Not because we want to see more places, but because we've finally learned to appreciate them.

Somewhere between building careers, raising families, and checking all the boxes, it's easy to forget that life is happening while we're busy making plans.

Thoughtful planning is the difference between a trip that’s just “fine” and one that feels effortless, memorable, and truly worth the investment.

It starts with choosing the right trip—not just the popular one.

The right hotel, not just the cheapest or the one with the prettiest Instagram photos.
The right cruise line, not just the one with the best promotion.
The right destination for the season, your travel style, and what kind of experience you actually want.

Thoughtful planning also means understanding the details people often overlook:

Flight timing that doesn’t ruin the first day of your vacation.
Hotel locations that save hours of unnecessary backtracking.
Private transfers versus rental cars.
When to add an extra night.
When travel insurance is absolutely worth it.
Which excursions are worth the splurge—and which are tourist traps.

It also means access.

Preferred hotel partnerships can mean breakfast, upgrades, resort credits, and VIP treatment that change how the trip feels from the moment you arrive.

And finally, it means support.

When flights get canceled, weather shifts plans, or something unexpected happens, you’re not starting from scratch with a chatbot and a customer service queue.

A good trip gets booked.

A great trip gets designed.

I’ve noticed something after planning a lot of trips lately… there are really only 3 types of people when it comes to cruising:

🚢 Cruise Curious
🚢 Never Cruisers
🚢 Cruise Passionate

And honestly? All three make total sense.

Because cruising isn’t just one kind of vacation anymore.

Some people love the energy of big ships, shows, and having everything in one place.
Others are drawn to smaller, quieter experiences that feel more like boutique hotels on the water.

Different styles for different travelers.

So now I’m curious…

Which one are you? 👇

I used to take Newport for granted when I lived nearby.

Now it’s one of the places I go back to on purpose.

It’s just… easy. And sometimes that’s exactly what you want in a trip.

Happy to share how I’d plan it if you’re thinking about going.

Italy is the place I’ve booked more than anywhere else—and for good reason 🍷🇮🇹

Every region feels different.
Every wine tells a story.
And no two trips should ever look the same.

Over time, I’ve learned how to match the right regions with the right travelers—so your trip feels effortless, not overwhelming.

Want bold reds and vineyard views? → Piedmont or Tuscany
Prefer something quieter and more local? → Umbria
Dreaming of sunshine and seaside wines? → Sicily or Puglia

✨ That’s where I come in.

I don’t just plan Italy trips—I help you experience it through its wine, its culture, and the moments you’ll remember long after you’re home.

DM me “ITALY” for my full guide + let’s start designing your trip.
