Aero MD AeroMD is a state-of-the-art air ambulance service based in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Through the composition, training, and expert capabilities of our flight medical teams, and the technologically advanced medical equipment that we have onboard, AeroMD is able to provide in-air urgent care equal to what patients will be receive at their destination Level I Trauma Center Intensive Care Unit or Emergency Room. Our medical flight teams are made up of a Flight Critical Care Registered

Nurse and a Flight Respiratory Practitioner who have real-time access to emergency medicine physicians at the top-rated University of North Carolina Medical Center Trauma Unit, ensuring world-class care for patients in life-threatening situations. Each AeroMD team is capable of administering over 80 different medications as needed, administering life saving blood products, placing advanced lines and tubes as well as performing basic surgical interventions. Based on the patient’s needs, the aircraft will truly be a flying Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Department and Trauma Center.
