I had to climb through a few fences and made friends with many mosquitos to get in, but alas, the deed was done! 🤝
What can I say? Crazy! I've only seen two Prop Cycles recently and this Alpine Racer 2 is in better condition than the one in GiGo Akihabara 😆
Somebody already stole the NAOMI from Crazy Taxi and damaged a lot of the machines, which kinda sucked to see. People suck

The Pokemon center also gave me a card for getting 3 stamps at various centers around Tokyo. A guy working there also gave me a free sticker, I just had to degrade myself by making random Pikichu noises 😂 Nice

World Game Circus in Japan.

It was 1.5 hours on the train from the center of the city (Each way), but wow, it was worth it in the end!

They have some crazy rare games: Crankin' DJ 2, Sabin Sound Star, EZ2AC, Chrono Circle, IIDX Red (and old mixes), Keyboard Mania and a bunch of other stuff. I'll upload a full video at some point.

They have 4 mini locations, all across the street from each other. The building is really unassuming, no signs, nothing. You kinda have to know it's here.

Most of the machines have livestreaming, and while it's almost feels like a museum, the machines are generally well maintained for pro players. It's not a typical museum to get foot traffic in the door, stuff actually works good! I guess it makes sense as they have monthly rankings for many machines too.

They can switch out mixes too on many machines. Most of the machines have the back doors removed, so they can switch the games out pretty easily. I know I've seen some really old mixes running here, especially on the DDR

Weirdly, DDR cabs in Japan really suck (Like 95% of them! haha!), which was really surprising to me. WGC has the only one I've seen (so far) that has countersunk screws and it's sensitive enough to play really hard stuff.... I've visited around 30 arcades so far, once you get to 18, you start getting misses unless you step hard. It kinda sucks. I didn't expect that at all. This is way better though

They have Pump Phoenix 2 in an LX too. The pads aren't the best condition, but I guess not many people play Pump here.

Started the day in Shibuya, and tried to walk the famous Shibuya Crossing. We took a picture with a dog called Hachiko (Richard Gere made a movie about it lol, we watched it yerterday)
Then travelled a little north to Shinjuku, where there was a Godzilla head on a building and some other cool stuff.

Today I visited Asakusa. There's a Japanese holiday at the moment called Obon, which is similar to Mexico's Día de los Mu***os. During the closing day, they float lanterns down the river. Many people hang out with family and bring offerings to the cemetary.

I used the disabled toilets at the train station because there was no line, and I accidentally mixed up the panic alarm with the flush button. It was easier to run away than explain 😆

It seems everybody visits Tokyo lol! I met up with some more friends who were randomly visiting the city just before they had to fly back home.

I saw a robot information officer at the station. It reminded me of the taxi driver in Total Recall lol 😆

I went into a thrift store and bought some things. Everything is very cheap! (Apart from Apples... Apples are not cheap lol)
