To celebrate the 8th anniversary of Bài Chòi Art of Central Vietnam being inscribed by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, Hội An will host the art exchange “Bài Chòi - Millennial Echoes of Bài Chòi Rhythms” at 19:00 on December 7, 2025, at An Hội Roundabout.
The program offers a rustic and intimate performing space where the community and visitors can connect and immerse themselves in the lively melodies and witty call-and-response verses of Hội An’s Bài Chòi.
This occasion provides an opportunity to reflect on the city’s journey in practicing, preserving, and promoting the heritage; to foster appreciation for its enduring cultural values; and to continue nurturing the vibrant vitality of this unique folk art form in Hội An - a globally recognized creative heritage city.
