2. What's the difference between Premium Class, 1st Class Sleeper & VIP Sleeper 4x?
- Premium Class Sleepers are in two berth cabins must be booked together and it is a private room.
- 1st Class Sleeper are in four berth cabins with two upper bert

hs folded up for two passengers must be booked together and it is a private room.
- VIP Sleepers 4x are in four berth cabins may be purchased individually.

3. What would you recommend if we want privacy for our family/group? You may book the two berths Premium Class, 1st Class Sleeper or all four berths in the VIP Sleeper 4x cabin to insure privacy

4. We are a group of 8 people and we would like to seat close to each other. How should we book our tickets? Please go ahead to make your booking for eight in two VIP Sleeper 4x berths with a note so our booking agent will ensure that you have the two cabins next to each other to yourselves.

5. Could I book the ticket while I'm renewing my passport? The passport number is required for record keeping by the railway but it’s never checked. As a general rule we may suggest traveling with both passports if you receive a new one immediately prior to traveling.

6. What is the regulation of luggage amounts? The official limit is 20kg per person but it is more of a guideline than a rule. Keep in mind that you will have to carry and manage getting all of your luggage on and off the train on your own.

7. Are we able to fit in a VIP Sleeper 4x cabin with 2 adults, 2 children, 1 baby, 3 large suitcases, one bag and 4 backpacks? It will be a bit cramped but should be doable by placing the bags underneath the seats and in-between the beds. On most trains there is also space above the door but please be careful as backpacks have been known to roll off in the middle of the night.

8. Do we need to buy ticket for our kids? Children under 6 are free and do not need a ticket as long as they share a berth with an adult.

9. We are a family with 2 adults and three kids. Is it possible for our whole family to travel in a VIP Sleeper 4x cabin, having the youngest kid sleep together in a bed with one of the parents? Please go ahead and make your booking for four VIP Sleeper 4x berths with a note so our booking agent will ensure that you have the entire cabin to yourselves.

10. How could I book 2 bottom berths in a VIP Sleepers 4x cabin? Please contact the website or agency you book with to make this request, as long as the booking is made long enough in advance we should be able to reserve bottom berths for you.

11. How would we travel on the train with our bikes? The bikes will need to be shipped as cargo and that service is controlled by the state railway company staff at the station so prices and avialabilty vary. There is a well marked office to the right of the main station and we advise that you check with them in the morning. If there is no shipping car attached to your train there will be to one of the others that evening and you can collect your bikes at the destination.

12. We've booked the tickets thru one of your agencies when will we receive the confirmations? Many online travel agencies use their own internal ticket numbers so we are unable to track based on that. If you used one of our partners then everything should be fine.

14. Is there any power outlets or USB charger on Laman Express trains? There are power outlets in every cabin but you would need to bring your own plug and/or adapter for your devices.

15. If yes, what is the password? There is wifi available onboard. Please check your welcome letter placed on your bed for the password but if you couldn't find the letter/password or that does not work please ask the attendant.

16. Is there a smoking area on the train? There is not, please do not smoke in the cabin 😅. Many people smoke in the areas between two cars that have an open door. We would kindly ask that you make sure to properly close the door to the Laman Express car before smoking.

17. What if we have questions regarding booking: change, refund or other requests? Please contact the website or agency you booked with.

19. I left a personal item on the train, how should I get it back? Please share your ticket details, the lost item description and how would you prefer to get it back in case it found such as: pickup at the last station you hopped off? pick up on the next train with us? Once all information is provided, we will check and get back to you as soon as we can.
