🇻🇳 A 200KM “UNDERGROUND CITY” ONCE EXISTED IN VIETNAM’S JUNGLE…
Not sci-fi. Not a Hollywood blockbuster.
But a real story lies deep beneath the earth in Cu Chi—a 200km network of tunnels hand-dug in the midst of brutal wartime chaos.
💣 A miraculous maze—where people lived, fought, and thrived in darkness
For years, this underground world was home to resilience, courage, and survival.
🕳 A miniature society below ground
The Cu Chi Tunnels weren’t just hideouts. They were a full-blown “city” with Hoang Cam stoves (smokeless cooking fires), clinics, meeting rooms, weapon caches, and even classrooms for kids.
Connected like a labyrinth, with clever ventilation and b***y traps, one wrong step could be fatal. Yet, the Vietnamese lived and fought from this hidden world.
🔥 Willpower that made the impossible real
No tech. No machines.
Just shovels, bamboo baskets, and bare hands. The people of Cu Chi dug this network right under the enemy’s boots, not just surviving—but winning from below.
📍 Want to touch the steel spirit of Vietnam? Visit Cu Chi.

✨ LIGHT A LANTERN, LET GO OF WORRIES: A MAGICAL NIGHT IN HOI AN
If you’re hunting for a place to slow down, ditch the chaos, and let your heart be soothed by pure tranquility, Hoi An is your answer.
No hustle, no bustle—just the gentle glow of lanterns, the quiet Thu Bon River, and friendly smiles that feel like old friends. 💛
🌸 Charming by day, dreamy by night
When the sun sets, Hoi An slips into its most dazzling outfit.
The ancient town sparkles with thousands of colorful lanterns—not the cold glare of electric lights, but a warm glow straight from memories, human connection, and old-school dreams.
🕯️ Don’t miss: Floating lanterns on the Thu Bon River
Hop on a little wooden boat, gently set a lantern on the calm water… and watch your worries float away like they never existed.
Life hits the reset button to “pure chill” mode.
They say each lantern carries a wish, but honestly, the moment you release it? That’s the wish come true.
🎶 Hoi An at night—it’s not just a town, it’s a vibe
Soft music drifts from a tiny riverside café, the faint scent of incense dances in the breeze, and candlelight flickers on the water. It’s like the universe is whispering, “Yo, relax, you’re in Hoi An.”
💬 Have you lit a lantern in Hoi An yet?
If you have, spill the tea—what was your magical moment?
If not, trust me: you’ll want to come back… more than once. 💫

“FROM PENANG LAKSA TO BÚN BÒ HUẾ – A TASTE SHOCK IN VIETNAM” 🇲🇾✈️🇻🇳

In Malaysia you’re used to Penang Laksa, Kari Mee, Nasi Lemak… then in Vietnam, a bowl of Bún bò Huế feels like the “bold sibling” in the world of Southeast Asian noodle soups.

🔸 Broth: fragrant with lemongrass, slightly spicy, with a distinctive fermented shrimp flavor, richer than many soups in Malaysia.
🔸 Noodles: round, thick, white, more satisfying to chew than hủ tiếu or mee.
🔸 Toppings: beef, pork knuckle, Vietnamese sausage… plus fresh herbs, chili, lime, satay.

It suits travelers from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia very well thanks to the familiar spicy, salty, aromatic profile.
One spoonful and you taste both ancient Huế and that Asian-style street food vibe in a single bowl.

👉 If you’re planning a Kuala Lumpur – Hanoi – Huế – Da Nang route, make Bún bò Huế a “must-try dish” on the same level as Laksa in your list.

A PIECE OF EUROPE IN TROPICAL SINGAPORE

The moment you step out of City Hall MRT station, a snow‑white building with sharp spires and soaring arched windows instantly catches your eye: St Andrew’s Cathedral.

This landmark was designed by architect Ronald MacPherson, inspired by English churches in Europe yet adapted to the hot, humid climate of Southeast Asia:

Thick white walls that help keep the interior cooler
Tall, numerous windows that increase ventilation and natural light
Ceiling fans, long corridors, sloping roofs – all crafted for the tropics
A few fascinating details:

The land for the cathedral was donated by Sir Stamford Raffles, the founder of modern Singapore
In 1973, St Andrew’s Cathedral was declared a national monument
Inside, stained‑glass windows commemorate historical figures of the British Empire and colonial‑era Singapore
Your journey through Singapore becomes far richer with one more stop on your itinerary: the place where European style, colonial history and Southeast Asia intersect – St Andrew’s Cathedral.

🌏 From Bogotá to Southeast Asia — A journey that changes a person

He put down his suitcase, looked back at the journey just passed: mysterious Myanmar, vibrant Thailand, peaceful Laos, dynamic Vietnam, ancient Cambodia...

And the only thing he said when returning to London on the way back to Bogotá: "Todo muy bien." — Everything was wonderful.

When a Colombian travels halfway around the world to Southeast Asia and leaves with a smile — that's when we know we did the right thing.

"The sky well at Fort Canning – the Singapore photo everyone asks the location of"

Is there a Singapore photo that makes you stop scrolling instantly? It's usually that perfectly round green canopy, light streaming down, with a spiral staircase below and a tiny person standing in the middle. That legendary angle is in Fort Canning Park.

📍 What is the sacred tunnel spot? It's an underpass with a spiral staircase leading up from underground. Looking up from below, moss-covered stone walls and creepers surround you, with a lush green canopy on top forming a natural "round frame". In photos it looks like you're in a fairytale world from a game or fantasy movie.

Traces of war and old Singapore: Fortress, old gates, ramparts left from the British colonial era Info boards telling stories of the military command room, decisions made in World War II Tree-lined paths, stone benches, lawns – perfect for a light picnic after shooting under the tunnel

A place with an "Instagrammable tunnel", plus history, plus greenery in the middle of the city – that's why Fort Canning is always on the must-visit list of travelers with taste.

If you come to Singapore and love both great photos and historical stories, this spot absolutely deserves a session in your itinerary.
