A truly spectacular evening at Hoi An Memories Land. The experience starts with smaller performances and cultural shows around the island before the main ‘Hoi An Memories’ show begins — a huge outdoor performance telling the history and story of Hoi An through music, dance and incredible staging.

We were completely blown away by the scale of it all and the performances were amazing from start to finish. Definitely one to add to your list if you ever get the chance to visit Hoi An 🤩

A lovely morning making our own dishes at the pottery village in Hoi An. Mine was the green with the daisy, I’m pleased how it turned out but i definitely need practice with a paint brush 😂

Some of the pieces were incredible. The mini village of landmarks from around the world was really impressive

Spent the day in Hanoi, learning to cook Vietnamese food - papaya salad, pho, spring rolls and sweetcorn soup for pudding.

We got to explore the market before heading back to the host’s house to prep and eat delicious food.

Happy Lunar New Year! (Tết in Vietnam.)

It’s very quiet where we are at the moment. Many shops and restaurants are closed while people spend the holiday resting and enjoying time with family. It feels a little like Christmas back in the UK — a time when everything slows down and family comes first.

It’s quite different from the bustling, lively streets we became used to in our first week here.

Some places are still open though. We planned to visit a pottery museum, but found it closed when we arrived. Instead, we found a gorgeous coffee shop overlooking the river — a lovely surprise.
