New regulations from July 1st 2026

⚠️ Please note: Many people have been asking us about the online health declaration link for entering Vietnam. We would like to summarize the information below. Please share this post to help avoid any misunderstanding.
🚨 Vietnam’s Health Declaration Requirements for Entry and Exit from July 1, 2026: The Ministry of Health has clarified that the new health declaration regulations do not mean that all people entering, leaving, or transiting through Vietnam must complete a health declaration starting July 1, 2026.

✅ Health declarations will only be required when there is a specific infectious disease risk or a situation requiring monitoring, as decided by the Ministry of Health based on the actual situation.

✅ When health declarations are activated:
- They can be completed online or using a paper form.
- The declaration must be made within 7 days before entering, exiting, or transiting through a Vietnamese border checkpoint.

⚠️ The Ministry of Health also confirmed that the website “tokhaiyte.vn” is not currently being used as an official health declaration system. If health declarations are required in the future, the official system will be announced.

✅In short: Starting July 1, there is no requirement for travelers arriving in Vietnam to fill out a health declaration. It will only apply when the Ministry of Health activates the measure due to risks.
