On August 10, 2026, Prime Minister Hồ Quốc Dũng signed Decision 1516/QĐ-TTg, issuing Vietnam's official action plan to implement remedial measures in response to the European Commission's recommendations from its 5th IUU (Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated) fishing inspection.
