Day 1: : Saigon – My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho (Lunch, dinner)
Commence your 2 days small group Mekong Delta Tour, our Mekong Delta Travel guide and driver pick-up at 7:15 AM at your hotel for the drive to My Tho City.
On arrival, we will boat along The Mekong River to the Qui island with experiencing daily local activities on the River.
Boat to Ben Tre, you will discover “the kingdom of coconut “ with their daily activities, tasting coconut candies and honey tea. For inside discovery, we will take the rowing boat into the small waterways fully-covered by the shadow of the water coconut’s tree and cool breezes.
Our local lunch of elephant-ear fish and river shrimp, washed down with some cold drinks or beers will be served right in the heart of the orchard garden.
In the afternoon
After lunch, your Small Group Mekong Delta Tour will be fulfilled by final boat trip to Ben Tre. Here, we will experience a wonderful atmosphere as walking into the village, visiting fruit garden, enjoying the tropical fruits with “Southern Vietnamese Folk Music” performed by the islanders. This is a great opportunity for you to join the daily activities of the local people and enjoy the peacefulness of this beautiful rural countryside.
Back to our vehicle, we will drive to Can Tho City for the night. Having dinner, you will spend your night in Can Tho.
Day 2: Our day 2 Small Group Mekong Delta Tour (Breakfast, Lunch)
Highlights Cai Rang floating market – Ho Chi Minh City
After breakfast, we boat to along on the Mekong River visiting the amazing Cai Rang floating market.
We will interact into the market for witnessing the authentic Cai Rang floating market activities happening on the River. During the early morning market hours, larger sized boats anchor and create lanes that smaller boats weave in and out.
The waterway becomes a maze of hundreds of boats packed with mango, bananas, papaya, pineapple, and even smuggled goods like ci******es. Sellers tie their goods to a tall pole so that buyers can see from a distance what they are selling. Have you tried the Vietnamese vermicelli noodle? So, you will go and see how it is made.
In the afternoon and evening
You will walk along a village to interact with the local people. Here you have an opportunity to experience how to pass a “Monkey bridge”
Back to our vehicle, we leave Can Tho for Ho Chi Minh City with lunch break at the local restaurant on the way to The City. We will arrive in The City at an estimated arrival time at 4:30pm. End thee services at the meeting point.
