"The 6hrs I spent with Ha, were my most enjoyable of my 4 weeks in Vietnam, starting with a coffee and a chat, where I realized that Ha was a fantastic young lady and had great English, she then took me shopping in the markets, to get ingredients for lunch, then we jumped on a boat, to a pottery village and was given a tour, then we went out fishing on a small boat, followed by making lunch, with Ha’s aunty.
But the highlight was Ha, her personality made the day, she was so easy to talk too

Hoian with glow of sunset in the sky is the wonderful picture to make good impression on tourists coming here. Some rows of old houses with double tiles created special feature between Hoian and other destinations. Yellow is main color painted for all old houses here. People believed that this color is lucky color. Most houses here have 3 doors or 3windows because they are symbolized for 3 gods: wealth god, happiness god and longevity god. This architecture will help local people getting balance their life to have happy long life. Furthermore, Hoian connect closely with beach and river. Boat plays an important role for people’s life. Most families have stable income thank for catching fish. Boats in Hoian as well as Vietnam have the eyes. They can make the boat look like big fish so some smaller fish will follow big fish. Then, fisher man can catch a lot of fish. The eyes also help fisher man avoiding some danger on the sea like monster,.. and they can find the way to come back home safety. Although Hoian is developing day by day, it still keep its own feature.
