Ciao Mer Bleue family! Bailey here. Just reminiscing on way back when.
 
This week, we’re sharing a blog I wrote a while ago about what it meant to grow up traveling with my parents, and it all started with this first trip to Europe.
 
Looking back now, it’s clear how much that first trip shaped the way I see the world. Travel makes you curious. It makes you open. And when you experience it young, those memories stay with you forever.
 
I still remember so many tiny moments from those three days... following the smell of pasta down a random street, notebooks and little cameras my parents gave us to document everything, and an unbelievable amount of gelato.
 
One of my favorite memories was sitting on the Spanish Steps eating gelato while the sun went down, before walking to the Trevi Fountain to make a wish. I wished that our family would travel to a new country every year.
 
How easy it would have been to enjoy a trip just the two of them, but here we are, so many years later, sharing our love for travel with others. What a blessing.
