Our cozy Hotel was originally a manor house dated of 1912. Previously, in the area where is now the Hotel lived Mr. Grimaldo Del Solar (from whom the street’s name is taken). After that, also a Vice-president of Chile lived here during his stay in Peru. For a while it was property of the German Association in Peru and then was a Bed and Breakfast. In the year 1980 it was bought by its current owne
rs. After 2 years of exhausting restoration and maintenance work and the finest decoration Hotel La Castellana opened its doors in 1982. Nuestro acogedor Hotel fue originalmente una casona que data del año 1912. Antiguamente en el área que ocupa la casa vivió el Sr. Grimaldo Del Solar (de quien se puso el nombre a esta calle), tiempo después viviría en esta casa un vicepresidente de Chile durante su estancia en el Perú. Por un tiempo la casona fue propiedad de La Asociación Alemana y luego paso a ser una Posada. Fue en el año 1980 que los actuales propietarios adquirieron la casona y luego de dos años de arduos trabajos de mantenimiento, remodelación y bellos acabados. El Hotel La Castellana abrió sus puertas en el año 1982.
