h past history in tables and maps and a dashboard giving the status of different parameters chosen. Customers can remotely set their own options from any Internet access point (such as how many times do I want to know where my asset is per hour/day/week/month and other options from various sensors/interfaces). The novelty: these cable-free tracking units are either rechargeable or primary battery-powered with an extremely long battery life (Bulldog), or solar-powered (Ridgeback). They are therefore unique in the tracking industry because they do NOT rely on any external power source like engine batteries. The most recent primary battery unit, released in July this year, lasts up to 15 years - at 1 position/day - and can be attached (on top, on the side, underneath or inside) to containers, wagons, trucks or any mobile asset, to constantly give positions; if a container, swap-body or a trailer is ‘lost’, stolen or hijacked, the tracking unit will continue to independently transmit its whereabouts. There are no wires, no cables, or reliance on any other power source. Customers can choose from a range of 5 tracking units according to their needs: either solar-powered (with a back-up battery of 6 months when in the dark) or battery-powered, primary or rechargeable, depending on the length of the autonomy required; water- or weather-proof or not; for use outside or inside the asset; with extra technical options (multi-sensor capacity including interfaces with re**ers, wagon coupling systems, door locks, intrusion alerts, etc.); the units have different attachment solutions (magnets, inside or outside container/truck door brace, rivets, cable-ties, Velcro, adhesives) that are easily installed.
