Some things are stronger together. 🇧🇷☕
In the early 1970s, Antônio Andrade Pereira Filho and Maria da Conceição Costa Pereira began building a future in coffee in Carmo de Minas, Brazil.
While their coffee trees grew, so did their family.
Their daughters, Maria Valéria and Maria Rogéria, grew up around the farm and began helping their father manage it from a young age.
Years later, after their father passed away, the sisters faced a decision.
Divide the property, or continue what their family had built.
They chose together.
The farm was renamed from Serrado to Irmãs Pereira - “Pereira Sisters” to reflect the spirit of sisterhood that continued to hold the family and farm together.
Today, that story forms the backdrop to a farm known for specialty coffee and continued experimentation in coffee production and processing.
And now, one of those coffees forms part of Marunic’s Brazilian Specialty range:
