Temporary stop poles are being replaced with permanent structures across the MyCiTi footprint.

Look out for the newly constructed stops featuring branded MyCiTi totem poles with lighting for improved visibility, leaning rails, tactile paving and wheelchair-accessible ramps, and overhead shelters with seating at high-traffic stops.

Some older myconnect cards will expire at the end of September 2026.

Check the expiry date on your card and replace it before it expires to ensure uninterrupted travel.

The replacement card costs R30. The good news is that your new-look myconnect card never expires, so you wonโ€™t need to replace it again โ€“ unless it is damaged.
