WORKSHOP ASSISTANT

Passenger Bus Tourism Industry

Are you a hands-on, mechanically minded person who knows your way around a diesel engine? 🔧🚌

Do you enjoy keeping buses running smoothly, safely and reliably? We want YOU on our team!

🔧 WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Conduct maintenance and repairs on our bus fleet
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Ensure vehicles meet safety & performance standards
• Minimise downtime and keep our fleet moving
• Work closely with our workshop & operations teams

🛠️ WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

✅ Workshop-related experience — bus/tourism experience is a bonus
✅ Strong knowledge of diesel engines, brakes, gearboxes & electrical systems
✅ Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
✅ Willing to work shifts & every second weekend
✅ Code 14 Driver’s Licence + PrDP — MUST HAVE

OPERATIONS CO-ORDINATOR

Passenger Transportation & Tourism Industry

We’re looking for an Operations Co-Ordinator to join our team and help keep our fleet, drivers and daily operations moving in the right direction! 🚌💨

📅 Start Date: Immediate

🚌 YOUR ROLE

You’ll play an important part in ensuring our daily operations run safely, efficiently and on schedule.

🔧 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

📍 Assist with route planning & driver assignments
📍 Coordinate daily driver and operational activities
📍 Support planners, dispatchers & clerical staff
📍 Monitor driver performance & attendance
📍 Track trip completion and operational requirements
📍 Liaise with drivers, clients, suppliers & management
📍 Assist with shift scheduling & operational coverage
📍 Help optimise routes and reduce empty kilometres
📍 Support fleet compliance, inspections & documentation
📍 Address operational challenges and escalate when required
📍 Assist with implementing departmental policies & procedures

🌟 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

✅ Knowledge of dispatch, fleet or transportation operations
✅ Experience with trip planning & logistics coordination
✅ Computer literate — MS Office
✅ Professional telephone skills
✅ Excellent organisational & time-management skills
✅ Strong communication & interpersonal skills
✅ Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
✅ Self-motivated and able to work independently
✅ Strong attention to detail & follow-through
✅ Passion for operational excellence & customer satisfaction
✅ English required; bilingual is an advantage
