Our Regional Director, Karen Robertson, recently came across this tree on LinkedIn — and we were genuinely blown away. It’s a real showstopper. The use of colour is striking, and from an industry perspective, it’s clear this was a major undertaking in both design and materials. The behind-the-scenes process really highlights the craftsmanship involved.

We know it must have been a massive undertaking in terms of design and materials. So glad you shared the behind-the-scenes process, it gives people an idea of the effort that goes into creating something like this - it's truly a work of art.

As a company that specialises in sustainable design and build, we've often been approached to create 'sustainable trees' from eco-friendly materials. My heart would sink, knowing it would require countless design hours and materials, making it a costly endeavour. Let's just say it's a labour of love, and usually, the budget isn't quite there.

It raises questions about the sincerity of companies their sustainable policies.
Are they genuinely committed to eco-friendliness, or is it just a marketing tactic?
Is it crossing the line between showcasing eco-consciousness and greenwashing?

Either way, this tree is amazing, and I love the energy that's gone into it.
