We offer a full complement of services from imports and exports of airfreight, seafreight, rail and road freight, bonded warehousing, long and short term storage, marine insurance and transport for a door to door uninterrupted service. Aviocean was started in Durban, North

coast of South Africa in 1988. It is a privately owned independent family Close Corporation, with family members personally responsible and involved in the daily activities of the business. Our experienced staff, some of whom has been with the company from inception, are passionate about the freight industry and go to extra lengths to provide professional and personal service to all customers / agents. Although Aviocean has a wide spread of services the company also insures a personalized service with management very involved and using a hands on approach. Aviocean has expanded over the past years to cover all major ports of South Africa. Aviocean have offices in Durban – Aviocean Natal (Head Office) , in Cape Town – Aviocean Cape Town and in Johannesburg – Avio Clearing & Forwarding. We are strategically situated for easy access to the ports, airports, container terminals, Customs Offices, port authorities and most major shipping lines. Aviocean continually aims to grow the link between agent and customer in order to offer services to suite individual requirements. This includes providing rapid processing of documents and a communication link between agents, buyers and suppliers. We are members of the Chamber Of Commerce, South African Association of Freight Forwarders, National Regulator and Customs And Excise accredited. We are registered as customs brokers in Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town and operate deferments with SA Revenue Services in all regions. OUR OBJECTIVES
We believe that in order to succeed in today’s ever-changing market we need to offer good value for money, proactive management, integrity, communication and big company benefits but with small company personalized service levels. Emphasis is on customer relationships and service and our objective is long term development rather than short term profit.
