My latest little project is to visit every possible w**e farm in the Western Cape (there are about 500). Starting with these ones in Durbanville as they are 15 mins from my place.
I have liked the look of this one for a long time so I finally made it over there. It has a tasting house with these amazing little w**e caves you can rent for private functions , most of them were occupied so I couldn’t take pics of every one. The cheese platters start at R280, but they also have a winter soup and toastie at the moment. I love the decor and rustic little touches. It also has a restaurant and a lawn where they place picnic blankets and pillows. I know where I will be spending my days. The w**e tasting room has a fireplace.
