Alhamdulillah, our group had the honour of making Ziyarah at the resting place of Imam Al-Shafi‘i رحمه الله, remembering the legacy of a great Imam whose knowledge continues to benefit the Ummah until today.
Imam Al-Shafi‘i رحمه الله was one of the greatest scholars of Islam and the founder of the Shafi‘i school of Islamic jurisprudence. He was renowned for his deep knowledge of the Qur’an, Sunnah and Islamic law.
He spent his final years in Egypt, where he passed away in and was laid to rest in Cairo 🇪🇬
