Seeing a colleague recognise themselves in a Unitrans campaign gave Brand Manager Nikeel Sewrajh a fresh perspective on his work.

“My work builds more than awareness,” he says. “It builds belonging.”

Nikeel works behind the scenes on campaigns, events and brand communication. His role involves coordinating with departments across the business, managing shifting timelines and keeping work on track when plans change.

He says the support from colleagues made an early impression when he joined Unitrans. People helped him navigate unfamiliar systems and came together during on-site projects to get the work done.

“Consistency builds trust,” Nikeel says. “It’s the small, consistent actions that earn credibility for the brand and for myself.”

Slowing down at an intersection doesn't just mean easing off the accelerator.

Stop before the line, not on it. Look right, left and right again before moving. Check mirrors and blind spots, even when the road looks clear. Expect someone to step out when you least expect it, because pedestrians don't always cross at the crossing.

If there's any doubt, stop. A few extra seconds cost nothing. A rushed decision can cost someone their life.
