A Well-Earned Pause

Since July 15th, ZT-RYE our H225, has logged more than 100 flight hours. She's now back on the ground for quick scheduled maintenance before answering the next call.

The aircraft is pausing. Our mission isn't.

We're incredibly proud of the professionalism our crew continues to demonstrate under demanding operational conditions and moments like this are part of how we keep them, and RYE, mission ready.

With more than 200,000 people evacuated and over 40,000 hectares affected by wildfires in France, the response has demanded an extraordinary level of coordination, dedication, and resilience.

After months of maintenance, training, and mobilisation, RYE is now actively supporting wildfire response operations in France, marking Starlite Aviation's first aerial firefighting mission with the H225.

Since deployment, RYE has proven to be an exceptional workhorse, operating alongside local authorities and fellow aerial firefighting operators to deliver critical aerial suppression where it is needed most.

This milestone represents far more than the introduction of a new aircraft capability. It reflects the professionalism, operational readiness, and unwavering commitment of our crews, who continue to operate safely and effectively in some of the most demanding environments.

ZT-RCF, our AS332L Super Puma and a trusted WFP workhorse, has just completed yet another 500-hour inspection, expertly handled by the team at AERO SUPPORT FORCE.

What makes this one special?
It’s the second 500-hour servicing in just 12 months… a real reflection of how hard this aircraft is working in the field.

Behind every hour flown is a team ensuring she stays safe, reliable, and ready for the next mission.
