At Dougs Auto Detailing Service we don't only do the usual.
We also rid your car of unwanted pets. Just had a customer bring her car in for a wash only to find she was harbouring a snake 🐍 in the drivers foot well. Not the first one but needless to say the customer at least left in a happy mood and free of the snake.

The reason why seat covers are not a good idea. Many people think that if they put seat covers on their car chairs it will protect them from dirt and stains. This is far from the truth. In fact it's completely the opposite.
It is my professional experience that I say this. Many times I have removed seat covers off customers seats to find what is festering underneath. This specific photo shows seat stains as well as a large amount of sand. Have the seat covers worked? I think not
My solution to the problem. Scotchguard your seats it works far better and if you spill something just wipe it off. It's that easy.

When choosing where to wash your car, are you certain you are having it washed at the right outlet. Many times cars are taken to car washes without thinking of the consequences of the washing environment. We drive into a good looking clean car wash with a false sense of security. Our car is washed and then driven wet to the finishing bay. Unfortunately with car washes like this more than often there is a slight breeze and dust or sand is blown onto our cars wet paintwork. A chamois is then used to dry the car and the dust is trapped between the chamois and paintwork turning the chamois into a piece of sandpaper.
We at DADS have taken this into account and all our cars are detailed under cover and out of the wind.

With today's gale force winds in East London.
The question pops into my mind. Is it really a good idea to wash my car in this?
The answer depends on a number of factors.
The first is can you live with a dirty car and the other being the most important.
Is the place I'm washing out of the wind.
The reason for this is, you take the time to rinse off the car, wash it and then begin to dry it. All the while the wind is blowing sand and dust onto your cars paintwork.
You pick up a chamois and begin drying, not realising that you have trapped the sand between your cars paintwork and chamois. You have just turned his the chamois into a piece of sandpaper.

At Dougs Auto Detailing Service we are sheltered from the wind and sand. We have taken this into account for your benefit.
So next time you wash your car make sure it can't be affected by the wind blowing dust onto it and keep your cars paint surface scratch free.
