Fun on The Kwando with Hammerkop Birds.
** Hammerkop builds one of the largest bird nests proportional to their body weight. The nest is large and comprised of sticks, with a central chamber, usually sited in fork of tree. A pair may construct multiple nests, some of which may never be used.
**Kwando River is a 731-kilometer river in south-central Africa. It starts in Angola, flows along Namibia's Zambezi region (Caprivi Strip), and enters Botswana. As it flows, it changes names to the Linyanti River and later the Chobe River before it joins the Zambezi River.
