After twenty years in logistics I don’t agree.
The biggest risk is what nobody can see.
The shipment that misses a connection.
The document that isn’t quite right.
The customs query nobody spotted.
The transport booking that wasn’t confirmed.
The supplier who assumes somebody else is handling it.
None of these make the headlines.
Yet every one of them can delay a shipment, increase costs and damage a customer’s reputation.
For twenty years we’ve worked behind the scenes of South African imports, quietly planning, coordinating and managing the thousands of decisions that determine whether a shipment arrives on time and professionally handled.
Most people never know we’re involved.
That’s exactly how it should be.
The best logistics operation is the one you never have to think about because everything simply works.
So here’s my question.
What is the biggest logistics lesson you’ve learnt the hard way?
I’d genuinely like to hear it.
