Before any dart is placed, careful planning takes place behind the scenes.
Here, students are preparing medicated meat for cheetahs — an important step to reduce stress and support a safer, smoother immobilisation process.

Wildlife veterinary work is not just about the procedure itself.
It’s about pharmacology.
It’s about welfare.
It’s about understanding species behaviour and minimising risk at every stage.

We train students to think beyond the dart — to approach every intervention with precision, ethics, and respect for the animal.
