🌱 HELPING LITTLE ONES WITH TRANSITIONS 🧸

Have you ever wondered why leaving the park, finishing bath time, or stopping play can sometimes cause big emotions? 💛

For young children, moving from one activity to another can be difficult. These changes are called transitions, and little ones often need time to prepare for what comes next.

✨ A simple warning can help!
Try saying:
🛝 “One more turn, then we’re going home.”
🛁 “When this song finishes, it’s time to get out of the bath.”

Giving children a little notice helps them understand that a change is coming and gives them time to finish what they’re doing.

At Totally Kidz ECD Preschool, routines and familiar activities help our little ones feel secure and learn what to expect next. 🌈

And remember — knowing what comes next doesn't mean they’ll always be happy about it! Leaving something they enjoy can be hard, and that's perfectly normal. ❤️
