How to: Crossovers!
Crossovers are an important foundation move to effortlessly handle corners, maintain speed, improve balance and learn how to use your ✨️ Edges!✨️
• Start by practicing leaning your knee over the top of your little toe
(make sure you bend your knees!)
• Practice picking up your 'outside' foot and crossing it infront of the other - then step your back foot out to the side to catch yourself
• Practice rolling in a circle while leaning your knee over your little toe.
• and finally add everything together! - Drop, lean, cross, and catch!
For balance you may want to hold both arms out to the sides...
Or you can bring your 'outside' arm infront of you which will turn your shoulders in to the circle, helping you to lean over further.
