“Khaya Tatu” means “House of Three” – a vision built by three friends with one dream:
To create a unique sanctuary for travelers seeking rest, inspiration, and unforgettable wildlife experiences in the heart of South Africa.

Meet the team behind Khaya Tatu, starting with Christian.
Christian first set foot in Southern Africa in 2008 during his internship with Sebastian.
That trip through South Africa and Namibia changed everything. It sparked a love for the country South Africa, the continent, and the wilderness that has stayed with him ever since.
Today he is not only one of our founders. He is the man behind the camera, capturing the moments that tell our story.
