A waterbuck received urgent veterinary treatment after being caught in a brutal poacher’s snare around his head.
The wire had cut deep into his flesh, damaged one of his eyes, and left him struggling to eat and drink. By the time the team reached him, he was in poor condition.

The snare was removed, treatment was administered, and we are hopeful that he will recover.
