Light Fibre Infrastructure Established in 2012, Light Fibre has installed over 5000km of fibre optic infrastructure around southern Africa & have developed multiple FTTX & FTTH networks.

ght hands. With regards to long haul telecommunications, no other company has
achieved the distances we have. Light Fibre is also the first company in SA to make use of new and innovative ploughing technology. Preparatory work, such as the removing of topsoil and excavation of the subsoil is no longer required, resulting in minimal soil structure changes taking place; this plough installation methodology is one of the world’s most environmentally friendly methods of deployment available on the market today. Some of our projects include Pretoria to Beit Bridge (international route), Polokwane to Tzaneen, Tzaneen to Nelspruit, Nelspruit to Ladysmith, Kroonstad to Ventersburg, Klerksdorp to Rustenburg, Springs to Ermelo, Queensburgh to Mtunzini, Zeerust to Lobatse (international route), and Cape Town to Stellenbosch. We are currently engaged in the construction of a route between Durban and Cape Town totalling 1 700 km. We have also completed well over 100 ISP projects as well as several FTTX and FTTH developments including residential estates.
