For a runner, it is the moment the race begins. For a student, it is the decision to register and invest in the future they want to build. 💪⭐

Our Spring Day celebration marked two important milestones for Open Learning Group: the launch of our First Semester 2027 registration campaign and the announcement of our Gold-Level sponsorship of the 2026 Waterfall City Half Marathon.

The two journeys share a common truth: meaningful progress takes preparation, commitment and the courage to begin.

Wellbeing is about more than how people feel today. It’s also about where they see themselves going tomorrow.

The Open Learning Group team recently joined Transnet CTC’s Employee Wellness Day, where employees from across different roles came together for a day focused on health, connection and personal development.

Between the aerobics, laughter and activities, we had the opportunity to have meaningful conversations with Transnet employees about their careers, where they are now, where they want to go next, and how further education can help them move forward.

For us, this is what workforce development should look like: recognising the whole person. Supporting employee wellbeing while also creating access to learning, career progression and new possibilities. ❤️‍🩹🍃
