Business Writing Skills
Granted that some organisations do not need to retain staff members who specialise in business writing – some employees may still need to attain good business writing skills. We can also coach these staff members on the tenets of good writing skills by role. The training is tailored to the specific job profile in order to provide the relevant output for the intended audience. This training is done over a 2 day period and facilitation is possible for groups of between 4 to 25 participants. Through this programme, writing output is clear, simple and concise. Learners are taught skills like;
• clarity and use of tenses
• overcoming common English Business writing errors
• setting and achieving objectives
• correct audience targeting
• creation of logical structure
• Proof reading and finalising writing with a fitting conclusion. Presentation skills coaching
Anyone who regularly communicates one on one in business needs to achieve maximum audience impact and this programme is tailored to do this. This training assists in the creation and delivery of an effective presentation. In this programme, delegates are trained on;
• building the presentation,
• making it relevant to the target audience
• use of visual aids, humour and gestures and
• Managing the audience. This is a 2 day programme and delivery can be to a group of 6 to 12 delegates or individual coaching for a specific presentation. Writing Fundraising Proposals
A fundamental skill for any good fundraiser is the ability to write effective fundraising proposals. This is the crux for any ‘Not for Profit’ organisation. Our training produces proposals that translate into funding for your organisation. Facilitation is over 2 days and learners are taught the following skills;
