70 years of resistance. 70 years of resilience. 70 years of women changing the world.

On 9 August 1956, 20,000 women marched to the Union Buildings in protest. They didn't march for themselves alone—they marched for their daughters, their communities, their future. That same spirit of courage lives on today.

At Girls on the Move, we're proud to carry forward that legacy of strength and determination. Every woman on our team embodies that fearless spirit—moving forward, lifting others up, and refusing to be stopped.

This Women's Day, we honour 70 years of activism, 70 years of women who dared to dream bigger, and 70 years of change-makers who showed us what's possible.
