OneLogix Namibia is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Namibian citizen to join our team as a Compliance Officer.
𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲: OneLogix Namibia – Walvis Bay Depot
𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
• Coordinate site activities and employees
• Plan, monitor, communicate and report on compliance and operational matters
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and compliance across operational areas
• Liaise with internal and external customers and ensure their requirements are met
• Maintain and audit quality systems to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001
• SQAS Africa, ISO 39001/RTS, applicable Namibian transport and safety requirements.
• Conduct investigations into incidents, accidents and customer complaints and compile
• Feedback reports
• Ensure equipment is appropriately calibrated and maintained in accordance with safety requirements
• Compile and review company policies, procedures, and work methods
• Conduct monthly safety meetings and compile management SHERQ reports on performance
• Conduct safety inspections and report on findings
• Coordinate and conduct emergency exercises
• Ensure all Risk Assessments, including Route Risk Assessments (RRA), and Site Inspections are conducted
• Compile weekly toolbox talks
• Report and facilitate insurance claims
• Order, receive and issue PPE in accordance with requirements and conduct regular PPE stock counts
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as required
𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝:
• Grade 12 / equivalent
• Minimum 3 years' working knowledge and experience in SHEQ / Compliance
• Previous SHEQ training and experience will be advantageous
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Driver's licence and own transport

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong planning and organisational abilities
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Able to work under pressure and extended hours when required
• Willingness to work away from home when operationally required
• Initiative to handle SHERQ-related matters independently
• Motivated, diligent, responsible, and reliable
• Strong ability to enforce standards, policies, and procedures
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
