☀️ SATURDAY MORNING | ELPHICK GROUP LOGISTICS 🚛

A new day, a fresh perspective, and another opportunity to keep moving forward.

Behind every truck is a team, a commitment, and a promise to deliver. The road isn't always easy, but we keep showing up, putting in the kilometres, and doing what we do best.

Humble. Honest. Hardworking. 💪

Wishing our clients, partners, drivers, and fellow transporters a blessed Saturday and a safe weekend on the roads.

Stormy weather. Wet roads. Long haul.

And a little bit of curiosity. 👀

This Scania Super is currently with us as a demonstration unit, giving us an opportunity to put it through its paces and see how it fits into the real-world demands of Elphick Group Logistics.

We believe in testing, learning and challenging our own assumptions.

There are strengths and weaknesses to every brand. The question is simple:

What works best for our operation?

For now, we're enjoying the experience.

Consistently formidable by design.

Sometimes the truck waits. The clock doesn't.

Fleet 11 is offloading in Ogies, Mpumalanga today.

Sometimes the load gets offloaded quickly.

Sometimes it takes a while.

Two people. One Superlink. A lot of freight.

While the truck is standing, the driver is waiting, the truck is tied up, and that capacity can't be used somewhere else.

That's transport.

The truck may be standing still, but the cost isn't.

The job isn’t finished when the truck arrives.

There was a quick, unplanned check on Fleet 12 today while collecting paperwork for a customer.

Getting the load there on time is only half the job — the paperwork needs to be on time too.

Always on display when you’re always on the road. 🚛

😂 Snap, crackle and pop, baby!

Fleet 11 looking pretty damn good while waiting to get unloaded

Sometimes the wheels aren't turning.

But the truck is still working.

Time is capacity. Capacity has a cost.

💚💙

Friday night.

A puncture means a roadside repair.

The load won't wait.
We can't wait.
We don't wait.

Get the problem sorted. Get the truck moving. Get the job done.

Forward. Always.

That's transport. That's resilience.

Formidable by Design. 💚💙

Poetry in Motion

🚛 Another clean Elphick truck on its way,
To a customer's premises to start the day.

Through the daylight and into the night,
We keep on trucking, and we do it right.

When we collect a customer's load,
It's more than just cargo on the road.

It's a promise to deliver with care and pride...
After all, it's our name on the side.

Formidable by Design.

Another journey begins.

There's always a proud moment when I see one of our trucks heading out onto the open road.

It's more than just a truck. It's my job, my commitment, and my family name travelling South Africa's roads.

TT17 is on her way to Polokwane this afternoon. Wishing our driver a safe trip and safe travels to everyone on South Africa's roads today.

Every successful delivery is built on trust, teamwork, and showing up when it matters.

Humble. Honest. Hardworking.

Not every trip goes exactly to plan.

Today one of our trucks was stopped at the Beaufort West Weighbridge with an axle overload. Importantly, the vehicle was not overloaded on gross vehicle mass – the challenge was the distribution of weight across one axle.

That's one of the realities of transporting mixed break-bulk cargo. Every pallet is different in size, shape and weight, and despite careful loading, sometimes the balance isn't quite right.

We immediately rectified the load, with the help of a supportive customer who understood the situation.

After redistributing the freight, the vehicle was reweighed, complied with the legal limits, and continued safely on its way to Cape Town.

We don't celebrate receiving a fine, but we do believe in taking responsibility, fixing problems properly, and learning from every trip.

Transport isn't about pretending everything always goes perfectly. It's about how quickly and professionally you respond when it doesn't.

Safe travels to all the drivers on the road this weekend. 🚛

Monday morning. A new week begins.

Fleet 12 is back on the road after a puncture repair, paperwork completed, and final checks done.

Logistics is about consistency. Every week brings new challenges, but our standard never changes.

We believe reliability isn't built on the big moments—it's built on the small things done right, day after day.

Here's to a safe, productive week for our team, our customers, and every driver on the road.

Every load. Every time.
