Another journey begins.

There's always a proud moment when I see one of our trucks heading out onto the open road.

It's more than just a truck. It's my job, my commitment, and my family name travelling South Africa's roads.

TT17 is on her way to Polokwane this afternoon. Wishing our driver a safe trip and safe travels to everyone on South Africa's roads today.

Every successful delivery is built on trust, teamwork, and showing up when it matters.

Not every trip goes exactly to plan.

Today one of our trucks was stopped at the Beaufort West Weighbridge with an axle overload. Importantly, the vehicle was not overloaded on gross vehicle mass – the challenge was the distribution of weight across one axle.

That's one of the realities of transporting mixed break-bulk cargo. Every pallet is different in size, shape and weight, and despite careful loading, sometimes the balance isn't quite right.

We immediately rectified the load, with the help of a supportive customer who understood the situation.

After redistributing the freight, the vehicle was reweighed, complied with the legal limits, and continued safely on its way to Cape Town.

We don't celebrate receiving a fine, but we do believe in taking responsibility, fixing problems properly, and learning from every trip.

Transport isn't about pretending everything always goes perfectly. It's about how quickly and professionally you respond when it doesn't.

Safe travels to all the drivers on the road this weekend. 🚛

Monday morning. A new week begins.

Fleet 12 is back on the road after a puncture repair, paperwork completed, and final checks done.

Logistics is about consistency. Every week brings new challenges, but our standard never changes.

🩺 Fleet 17 was supposed to be seeing the doctor today...

Instead, she found herself in Kokstad collecting another load.

That's transport.

You book the service. The customer calls. The load comes first.

The doctor will just have to wait a little longer. 😄

One more job, then we'll get her back to Johannesburg for the attention she deserves.

Until then... she's still doing what she does best. Keeping South Africa moving.
