The companies, AGROFORS and Klein Karoo Seed Production (Pty) Ltd (KKSP) are both part of the Klein Karoo Seed Group, which is a subsidiary company of the agricultural holding company, Klein Karoo Group (KKEB). KKSP has a well-established footprint in both the local and international agricultural market. The company has more than 40 years of experience in seed production, with a technologically ad
vanced seed cleaning facility and a fully equipped ISTA accredited seed testing laboratory. With the backing of this agricultural powerhouse, the focus of AGROFORS is more specifically on the procurement, marketing, sales and distribution of forage and pasture seeds, as well as fertilizer, and agrichemicals. Currently we are only importing, buying and|or selling public varieties, but we are working towards obtaining exclusive varieties for our forage and pasture crop portfolio. The focus is to provide a broad range of proprietary and exclusive pasture and forage varieties from quality suppliers to the South African, and African market. While we are working towards providing the full range of pasture and forage crops, the key products we are currently focusing on is annual ryegrass, forage cereals, perennial ryegrass, festulolium, cocksfoot, tall fescue, forage sorghum and lucerne (alfalfa).
