JOB OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a proactive, customer-focused Retail Sales & Business Development Associate to join our team. This hybrid role combines in-store support with external business outreach, focused on driving growth through engagement with local small businesses, schools, and organizations. Key Responsibilities:
· Support daily store operations and assist walk-in customers
· Promote the full range of products and services offered by the business
· Proactively identify, approach, and engage potential clients to expand the B2B customer base
· Generate, manage, and follow up on leads to close new business deals
· Assist in local marketing initiatives, including flyers, promotions, and social media outreach
· Maintain accurate client records and perform basic admin/invoicing tasks
· Liaise with vendors and service partners to coordinate deliveries and services
Requirements & Skills:
· 4–5 years of experience in retail, customer service, or sales (Experience in business services, printing, or courier industries is a plus)
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a sales-driven approach
· Basic proficiency in office and point-of-sale software (e.g., MS Word, Excel, Google Drive, POS systems), expeprience of Graphic Design software like Canva, Figma and Photoshop would be a plus
· Ability to work independently, take initiative, and operate within a small team
· Fluent in English (written and verbal) is mandatory, Proficiency to communicate in other languages including Afrikaans and Zulu is preferred
· Valid South African driver’s license required, preferably with own reliable vehicle
· Should be based in or around Bryanston East, for easy commute and business area know how
Compensation:
A Package of Basic monthly salary, plus Commission structure based on new client acquisition and monthly targets and Performance-based growth opportunities
