Guys my new intentional goal is doing LESS. Editing out that “I’m doing my best” overused phrase from my vocabulary.

How did I do less? How do I honor what brings my soul joy?

This first picture was taken 5 years ago. It was actually a good day for that time in my life, but that sandwich was the only thing I had time to eat that day. I was visiting with a dear friend in between meetings, opening times, inventory, etc etc and on and on.

I was maxxed out. It was days of putting on as good of a face I could manage working 90 hours a week. I look at her face, and I see pure exhaustion with no end in sight, silently grasping for anything resembling joy.

Dear 36-year-old me, thank you for holding on. Thank you for trusting in starting over. Thank you for being brave enough to have the world’s most confusing resume. You’d be so happy where we ended up (you probably wouldn’t believe it if I told you-last photo). I love you. 💚

Sundays have become one of my favorite days here in the coast. It’s almost like there’s an even more intentional slowness to them. This past Sunday was no different.

I made it a goal this summer to seek out hidden gems I hadn’t yet found in my second year here in the
