We were grateful to receive this thoughtful feedback from Annemie Ras of Superior Choices following recent guest transport arranged for an event.

Event transport depends on more than getting guests from one point to another. It requires planning, communication, flexibility and a team that is ready to assist when details change or last-minute requests come through.

𝗪𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲.

At E.Coaches, we know that not everyone enters the tourism industry with years of experience behind them.

Sometimes, people simply need the right training, the right guidance, and someone willing to open the door.

That is why we created E-CoacheD.

Every two years, we give 13 candidates the opportunity to become part of our structured driver training program. Through 4 weeks of theory, they learn the rules, routes, etiquette, and general knowledge needed to represent our area with confidence.

But we do not stop at theory.

After training, each candidate completes 4 accompanied trips with qualified drivers, followed by 4 solo trips on routes they have already been trained on. Guest reviews and performance feedback then help guide the next step.

Successful candidates become part of our trained freelance driver pool, where they can begin working immediately. They are also first in line when permanent positions become available within E.Coaches.

We also provide reference letters to help them submit their experience to other operators in the industry.

For us, this is about more than training drivers.

It is about creating opportunity, strengthening our industry, and raising the standard of service that guests should expect when travelling through our region.

When people are trained well, everyone benefits.

One of our drivers recently shared this special sighting while transferring guests to Kings Camp in the Timbavati.

A young lion, comfortably perched in a tree, chewing on a branch and giving our guests a memorable welcome to the bush.
