APPOINT US AS YOUR OFFICIAL CLEARING AGENT ON THE CUSTOMS ELECTRONIC LICENSING SYSTEM (CELS)

Are you aware of the new Customs Electronic Licensing System (CELS)? It is concerned with the electronic appointment of your preferred customs clearing agents from a list on the ZRA website.
To appoint a clearing agent, importers and exporters must log onto the web- based module and choose from a pool of licensed clearing agents. Once the appointment is done here, the ASYCUDAWorld system will recognize the chosen agent as the approved and lawfully authorized agents to clear on behalf of that particular importer or exporter. This means that the ASYCUDAWorld system will reject any transaction, if the agent is not authorized.

WHAT WE DO

As Customs brokers we facilitate the shipment and delivery of goods across international borders, through provision of the following services:

i. Preparation of import, export and warehouse documents required by Customs and other government agencies,
ii. Completion and submission of Customs declarations for import, export and transit,
iii. Completion and submission of Customs declarations related to warehousing,
iv. Completion and submission of other import or export documents or data required by government authorities,
v. Payment of duties, taxes and other regulatory charges and fees on imports and exports,
vi. Arranging and being present for the examination of goods by Customs authorities and other government agencies,
vii. Filing of duty and tax refund requests and amendments to Customs declarations.
viii. Consultation on matters relating to classification, valuation, and determination of origin for imports and exports and on matters relating to government requirements for imports and exports.
ix. Maintenance of records and supporting documents and data relating to import, export, and transit transactions as required by law.

As freight brokers, on the other hand, we are middle men in the shipping industry, third party transportation providers, providing a service by linking customers with shippers and trucking companies in order to move their goods within the country and across borders.
