To the Zambian Watchdog page and Chisanga,
We are writing in response to the recent post regarding FM Buses at Intercity Bus Terminal.
We have thoroughly checked our records for today, June 15, 2025, and can confirm that three of our FM Buses have already departed from Lusaka Intercity Bus Terminal as per their scheduled times. Furthermore, we do not have any passenger registered under the name "Chisanga" on any of our manifests for these departures.
It has come to our attention that there are currently numerous buses operating at Intercity Bus Terminal that are parading as FM Buses and providing misleading information to clients. We want to make it unequivocally clear that according to our company policy and our commitment to timely schedules, FM Buses does not provide false departure times or hold passengers for extended periods as described in the post. Our standard operating procedure is to adhere strictly to our published schedules.
We kindly request that Zambia Watchdog take down this post immediately. The allegations contained within it are factually incorrect regarding our operations and are causing significant damage to our business's reputation. We reserve the right to pursue legal charges for these damages if the post is not removed.
We believe in the importance of factual information with the intent to build, not to unfairly damage other people's businesses. We urge the public to verify the identity of the bus they are boarding and to ensure they are indeed on an official FM Bus.
