The Shipping and Forwarding Agents’ Association of Zimbabwe (SFAAZ) is proud to have successfully enrolled over 100 students and professionals into the World Customs Organization (WCO) Academy under our second cohort programme. Following the signing of our Distributor Agreement with the WCO in 2025, SFAAZ continues to expand access to globally recognized customs education and training for our members, students, and member companies in Zimbabwe. This initiative reflects our commitment to building a more knowledgeable, professional, and internationally competitive customs and shipping industry.
A strong understanding of customs procedures is essential in the Customs Clearance and Freight Forwarding sector. The WCO Academy courses provide comprehensive training in key areas such as Customs Valuation, the Harmonized System, Single Windows, Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) programmes, the SAFE Framework of Standards, and the Trade Facilitation and Kyoto Agreements. Delivered entirely through e-learning in English, these courses are empowering our members and students with practical global expertise that strengthens Zimbabwe’s trade and logistics sector.
