I travelled to Johannesburg on 21 July, flying with Airlink, and the journey was silky smooth from takeoff to touchdown.
Immigration? Swift. Efficient. Zero questions asked.
The SATMS declaration I submitted was clearly sufficient — not a single delay, not a single raised eyebrow.

The airport, usually buzzing with energy, was noticeably quieter… but not tense. Not chaotic. Just calm.

🍽️ Dining & Daily Life: No Violence, No Tension — Just Hospitality

In the last 24 hours, I have dined in two different restaurants across Gauteng.
No shouting.
No unrest.
No signs of violence.
No atmosphere of fear.

Service was top‑tier, polished, and warm — the South African hospitality we know so well.

The only noticeable change?
Many Zimbabwean workers who used to be visible in these establishments were absent. A quiet shift, but not a violent one.
