Community Notice – King Island & Flinders Island

Sharp Airlines wishes to advise the King Island and Flinders Island communities that a temporary 5% fuel levy will be introduced for travel from next Monday until further notice.

The levy is necessary due to the recent rise in global oil prices, largely driven by instability in the Middle East, which has significantly increased aviation fuel costs.

The levy will apply to all travel from next Monday, however existing bookings will not be affected.

Sharp Airlines remains committed to maintaining reliable air services to both islands and we appreciate the continued support and understanding of the community.
