We’ve now run the first couple of induction days for our Removals Apprenticeship Programme.
Really good turnout — but more importantly, a great attitude from the people who came along. Turning up early, asking questions, and keen to get stuck in.
We spent time showing what the job actually looks like — from the warehouse through to the lorries and how a move comes together on the day.
It’s not for everyone, and we’re very open about that. The work is physical and the days can be long.
But for the right people, it’s a genuine career path with progression and the opportunity to move into skilled roles and LGV driving over time.
We had a strong response to the initial advert — over 58,000 people viewed it — which shows there’s real interest in this kind of hands-on opportunity.
Still early days, but a really positive start.
