Apprenticeships are an increasingly important employment pipeline for the removals and storage industry. Bridging the gap between education and the workforce, they allow individuals to earn while they learn, gaining nationally recognised qualifications and practical, hands-on experience. For the businesses involved, they address critical skills shortages and develop tailored talent from the ground up.
The British Association of Removers (BAR), in partnership with TRS Training Ltd, offers government-funded apprenticeships designed to professionalise careers in the removals and storage industry. The program includes Level 2 and Level 3 frameworks, providing structured, on-the-job training for both new recruits and existing employees.
