Not everyone knows this update so please share it with everyone.

Darlington taxi and Private hire drivers must give you the option to pay by card. The days of going to a cash machine 2 miles out the way in the dark and cold have gone. Every Darlington licenced Taxi and Private hire must have the option.

That being said Signal in some areas can be spotty for phone terminals but I have 95% succes rate so the chances it doesnt work are few and far between.

Darlo Runners Butterwick Half Marathon 2026💙

I’ve had soooo many comments about this so here if some further info 👇🏼

💙It’s not an official race, it’s a 13 mile run from Darlington to Stockton North Tees Hospital.

💙When and what time …..Sunday 23rd August- setting off at 9am From Asda on Whinfield.

💙It’s for all running abilities (ideally we would like runners to be able to run 9/10 miles comfortably)

💙We allow 3 hours to get there and that includes a stop off at Ropner park toilets.

💙We do ask for a £10 donation that goes straight to Butterwick Hospice 💙

I’ve arranged some transport back to Darlington thanks to Jonno Jones (Jonno’s Taxis)

It’s a fantastic run and great way to meet new people and everyone giving to charity in such a fun way! 🫶🏽
