On 9 January, four new passenger carriages arrived at our Springburn facility. Each vehicle will be equipped with a modern central door locking system, ensuring the safety and security of our heritage fleet for many years to come🚂

The First Train Leaves Gibson’s in Over Six Years

At Gibson’s Engineering, we are committed to achieving the highest standards in everything we do - and this wagon is no exception.

After a complete overhaul, it’s heading back to London, proudly bearing a Gibson’s Engineering plaque to commemorate the extensive work carried out.

We will be completing all 23 of these wagons to the same exceptional standard before returning them to the network.

We can’t wait to see them back in the network.
