I don't usually tell you to look at a trip just because of the price...but this one got my attention. 👀🎄

A 7-night Scenic Christmas Market river cruise on the Danube from $2,695 per person.

And having experienced the Christmas markets in Germany myself, I can tell you there is something pretty magical about Europe this time of year!!

But here's what I really like about doing it by river cruise: unpack once and let the river take you from place to place.

Some trips you take because you need a vacation.

Some trips you take because you've been dreaming about them for years.

I think an African safari falls firmly into that second category🥹

Morning game drives. Seeing wildlife you've only ever seen on a screen. Incredible lodges in the middle of nowhere. Sundowners overlooking the bush.

It's the kind of trip you come home from knowing you'll be talking about it for the rest of your life.

I didn't just wake up one day and become a travel advisor.

Okay... technically, I kind of did😂

But deciding to become a travel advisor and actually learning how to be a good one are two very different things.

Since then, I've spent countless hours in destination and supplier trainings, attended industry conferences, traveled on FAM and agency trips, toured hotels and resorts, built relationships with suppliers, joined ASTA, and learned as much as I can about the places I send my clients.

And of course, I travel. A lot. Because firsthand experience will always be one of my favorite ways to learn.

Somewhere along the way, I even earned Rookie of the Year🥹

But one of my favorite things about this industry is that there's always more to learn.

And in 2027, I'm adding a new specialization that I'm VERY excited about👀

Let's just say it involves bigger trips, bigger celebrations, and a whole lot more people🥂

Europe just got a little easier to explore ✈️

American Airlines just announced several new nonstop routes for summer 2027, including:

Philadelphia → Porto
Philadelphia → Vienna
Philadelphia → Reykjavik
New York → Nice
New York → Amsterdam
Charlotte → Barcelona

And honestly? I'm less excited about the flights themselves and more excited about what they open up for your trip👀

Vienna + Budapest.
Porto + the Douro Valley.
Nice + the French Riviera.

Sometimes one new flight can completely change how I'd build an itinerary.

2027 Europe planning just got a little more fun!

Your kids have outgrown the kids club.

Maybe that's when family vacations get really good👀

Because now you can surf together. Zipline together. Look for wildlife. Hike. Kayak. Explore somewhere completely new…and come back to a beautiful resort at the end of the day.

Four Seasons Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo is exactly the kind of place I mean.

Luxury for you. Adventure for everyone.

And a trip you actually experience together 🌴

Portugal needs to be on your radar.

Think colorful streets and history in Lisbon, incredible food and wine in Porto, vineyard stays and gorgeous scenery in the Douro Valley… and that's only the beginning.

It’s one of those destinations where you can experience so much in one trip without feeling like you’re constantly checking boxes.

Beautiful, interesting, and very worthy of the bucket list.

Sometimes the best little getaways are closer than you think 🤍

I got to play tourist in my own state this weekend and visit Mackinac Island for the first time since I was a kid.

And omg…talk about a place frozen in time.

We only had half a day, but we wandered through town, had lunch at the Grand Hotel and spent some time exploring the hotel and that iconic porch.

We didn't even make it to the fort or Arch Rock, which just means I already have an excuse to go back 😂

Michigan, you really are pretty special 🥹

You want the ease of an all-inclusive.

He wants absolutely nothing to do with buffets, wristbands or a crowded resort 😂

Meet Hermitage Bay in Antigua.

Just 30 villa suites, incredible dining, private-pool options and the kind of laid-back Caribbean luxury that doesn't really feel all-inclusive.

Sometimes you don't hate all-inclusives.

You just haven't stayed at the right one 🌴

Scotland is one of those places that somehow looks even better in person ✨

These are all photos from my own trip, and trust me… Scotland deserves a spot on your bucket list.

The hard part isn’t deciding you want to go. It’s figuring out how Edinburgh, the Highlands, castles, tiny villages and everything else you’ve saved actually fit together without spending your entire trip in the car.

Europe is better after everyone goes home.

Okay, maybe not everyone. 😂

But if Europe is on your bucket list, don't automatically assume you need to go in June, July or August.

Some of my favorite times to experience Europe are actually after the summer crowds start to disappear.

Cooler days. Fewer crowds. Long dinners. Beautiful fall scenery. And a little more room to actually enjoy the places you traveled all that way to see.

And here's the thing...

I'm not necessarily telling you to travel in the fall because it will be cheaper.

I'm telling you because sometimes it makes the trip better.

The best time to visit a destination isn't always the most popular time to visit it.

And figuring out that difference is part of what I do.

So if Europe has been sitting on your bucket list, maybe the first question isn't where do you want to go?

Maybe it's how do you want it to feel when you get there?
